Dodgers News: Emmet Sheehan Dominates in Latest Triple-A Appearance

Dodgers’ starting pitcher Emmet Sheehan has been tearing it up in his last two starts for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

In his first game back in Triple-A after making an appearance against Oakland, Sheehan threw for 4 innings, allowing 2 hits and an earned run. In his next game, the 23-year-old threw 4 scoreless innings and allowed a single hit.

Sheehan showed promise in his major-league debut, throwing a no-hitter through 6 innings against the San Francisco Giants. He proved a viable option for much of the following games, until three consecutive appearances where he allowed 4 or more earned runs — including a nasty 8 hit, 8 earned run performance against the Texas Rangers.
